ncino, CA (June 25,2026)— Encino Hospital Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare Foundation has earned “A” grades in Value of Care, Patient Outcomes, Clinical Outcomes, Pay Equity, Avoiding Overuse, and Cost Efficiency on the 2026 Lown Hospitals Index, recognizing the hospital’s commitment to delivering high-quality, cost-effective care, achieving outstanding patient outcomes, and advancing value-driven healthcare for the communities it serves.
The Lown Hospitals Index is the only national ranking that examines how equitably care is delivered, how well hospitals invest in their communities, and whether patients receive high-value care that avoids unnecessary procedures, in addition to clinical measures. More than 50 metrics contribute to a hospital’s overall score.

Encino Hospital Medical Center’s recognition by the Lown Hospitals Index adds to the hospital’s growing list of national honors for quality, patient safety, and clinical excellence. Encino Hospital Medical Center continues to receive national recognition for the quality of care it provides to the community. Recently named one of Becker’s 100 Great Community Hospitals, the hospital has also earned the 2026 PRC Excellence in Healthcare Award from Professional Research Consultants, Inc. (PRC). In addition, Encino Hospital Medical Center was recognized with a 5-Star Excellence Award for Patient Experience in Emergency Department Services, reflecting its ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
