This national honor highlights Garcia’s leadership, dedication, and outstanding contributions to the patients we serve in our communities. EM Garcia, a quadruple doctorate degree, joined Prime Healthcare in 2012, and currently, he oversees two Prime Healthcare acute care hospitals in Encino and Sherman Oaks, California. In addition, both hospitals annually receive “Patient Safety Excellence Award” recognition from Healthgrades and The Leapfrog Group. Among other accolades received by Encino Hospital Medical Center and Sherman Oaks Hospital, remains nationally recognized by the American Heart Association for improving stroke treatment. Received The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval and the American Stroke Association’s Heart-Check mark for Advanced Primary Stroke certification. Both hospitals have recently earned a Bronze Seal Accreditation as a Geriatric Emergency Department from the American College of Emergency Physicians these clinical recognitions are a testament to Garcia’s focus on commitment to delivering safe, high-quality care for all.
